These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website easynotary.in and associated applications and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You are responsible for all activities under your account. All content, logos, code, and trademarks on the Platform are the intellectual property of easynotary.in or licensed third parties. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit any content without our prior written consent.

Payments and Transactions
Certain services may require payment. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us or our third-party providers (e.g., Razorpay) to process payments. All payments are subject to applicable taxes and processing fees.

Disclaimers
We provide the Platform “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy and availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free content. Users are responsible for verifying the validity of legal documents created via the platform. We are committed to compliance with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023. However, we do not assume liability for any third-party misuse unless explicitly proven to be caused by negligence on our part.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, easynotary.in is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform.

Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

Governing Law
These Terms and all data processing practices shall be governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Definitions
“Deposit”: any onetime, nonusage fee (e.g., onboarding, verification, hardware token security).
“Wallet Balance”: prepaid funds maintained in a user’s easyNotary wallet to book video notarisation sessions or other platform services.
“Transaction”: each individual service request or session booked through easyNotary.in.
- Deposits – NonRefundable
All Deposits paid to Jain Jindal & Associates (“JJA”) are nonrefundable under any circumstances once the payment is successfully acknowledged.
- Refunds
- Incomplete / Unsuccessful Transaction (platform error, payment gateway failure, or scheduler glitch): Yes – full reversal of the debited amount for that specific Transaction
- Service Cancellation by easynotary.in: Yes – full refund or free rebooking (user’s choice)
- Any other reason not listed above: Refer to Section 4 (restrictions)
- Refund Method & Timeline
Refunds are processed to the original payment source or a verified bank account within 7–10 business days after approval. KYC documents may be requested.
- Ceases to seek Refund
No refund will be granted if: Account deactivation at the user’s request, Account suspension due to regulatory violations, Licence nonrenewal, Negligence, Misrepresentation, Misuse/Fraud/Unauthorized Access.
- How to Request a Refund
Raise a ticket via the in-platform Support Centre or email support@easynotary.in within 15 days of the event. Provide transaction reference, screenshot/email of payment, and a brief description. JJA will acknowledge within 48 hours and issue a decision within 5 business days.
- Chargeback & Dispute Policy
Initiating unwarranted chargebacks while a refund request is open may lead to account suspension and legal recovery action.
- Policy Changes
Management may modify this policy without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the changes.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts/tribunals in Delhi, India.
